AKB48 member Maeda Atsuko's new CM for fashion brand, 'g.u.', will begin airing on May 21st until June 10th. The CM was filmed in Guam, marking the brand's first shoot overseas.

In the CM, Maeda appears on a wooden deck with a backdrop of Guam's blue skies and ocean. Maeda comes to a stop after her straw hat flies off her head, and manages to strike a cool pose.

Maeda, who shows off her mature style in the CM, commented, "Recently, people are finally telling me that I've grown up. So this summer, I want to be able to wear these mature dresses." Regarding the overseas shoot, she said, "It's the most simple out of all the CMs, but I was able to face this shoot with a very fresh feeling while experiencing Guam's sun and wind."

'g.u.' is a casual fashion brand by Fast Retailing, who's also known as the owner of 'UNIQLO'. The brand's message is "to have more freedom with fashion", and it�provides quality products for a reasonable price. Maeda was chosen as their image character back in 2011, and this is her 5th time starring in their CM.
