Actress Nagasawa Masami recently held a voice recording in Tokyo, as the narrator for the popular DVD series, 'Nyanko THE MOVIE 5'.

'Nyanko' is produced by the staff of Fuji TV's morning news program, 'Mezamashi TV', and�it portrays the relationship between cats and people all over the country. The first DVD was released in July of 2006; since then, 3 more have been released selling over 250,000 copies.

Previously, actresses Shinohara Ryoko, Konishi Manami, Tanaka Rena, and Ayase Haruka have served as narrators for the series.

Nagasawa commented, "I love cats, so I was happy to do the narration for it." She then introduced the DVD saying, "There were some fickle cats, they were cute. The cat that was angry at the dryer was especially cute."
