Ohtaka Shinobu's ongoing manga "Magi", will be getting a TV anime adaptation. �The anime will be produced by "A-1 Pictures" who are known for the production of "Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae wo Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai", "Ao no Exorcist", "Tsuritama", "Uchuu Kyoudai", and more.
"Magi" started being serialized on Weekly Shonen Sunday back in 2009. � Twelve volumes have been released, and the total number of copies printed reached 3,000,000. �It's an Arabian Nights-themed fantasy that features the protagonist, Aladdin and his fellows pursuing a hidden treasure in the world.
TV anime "Magi" will start airing in October on MBS, TBS every Sunday at 5:00 pm.
