On July 7th, idol group SUPER?GiRLS held a release event for their latest single, "Puripuri?SUMMER Kiss", at Yomiuri Land in Tokyo.
Despite the unfortunate rain, over 2,000 fans gathered at Yomiuri Land to celebrate the singles release. The members of SUPER?GiRLS took the stage in their summer clothes and performed a total of 5 songs including their newest, "Puripuri?SUMMER Kiss".
Since July 7th was the Tanabata (Japanese star festival) day, the girls read their wishes that were written on a tanzaku (long strips of paper for writing poetry on). Leader Yasaka Saori revealed, "I wrote to participate in 'Kohaku'." Meanwhile, Kano Kaede said, "What I wrote on mine is for SUPER?GiRLS to be loved by everybody."
At the end of the event, the girls pulled out a 6 meter long tanzaku, and wrote in big letters, "To be able to participate in 'Kohaku'."
