Popular singer YUKI has revealed on her official website that she will be providing the theme song for the upcoming movie "Himitsu no Akko-chan"!

The theme song YUKI will be lending to the movie is titled "Watashi no Negaigoto", and although no release date has been confirmed for it as of yet, fans of the singer can expect to hear more about it soon.

"I wrote the song after looking at the screenplay and watching the movie. I love the two main characters, so it's an honor to provide the theme song. Thank you," wrote YUKI on her official website.

"Akko-chan's an ordinary elementary school girl who daydreams. In other words, everyone used to be Akko-chan... The little girl inside of me is alive and well, even now. The things that the little girl wishes for... being able to smile strongly and kindly in front of the people you should be protecting, waiting like a flower, quietly watching over them like the wind... I think that 'grown ups' are those people who always keep a good mood without changing, regardless of their age. Not changing the world, but changing yourself. It'd be nice if there were more and more adults with a bunch of smile lines on their faces. That's what I'm wishing for."
