Idol group 9nine will be providing the ending theme for TV Tokyo's upcoming anime series, 'Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun' (starting October 1st). The girls will release this song as their new single sometime in December as well.

'Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun' is currently being serialized in the manga magazine, 'Dessert', and it portrays the love and friendship of high school students.�Kaburaki Hiro (Kimi ni Todoke) will be the anime's director,�Takagi Noboru (DURARARA!!,Sankarea) will be the story editor, and the animation will be done by�Brain's Base (Natsume Yujin Chou, DURARARA!!,�Kurage Hime).

The ending theme accompanies the anime's storyline, expressing the cheerful love of a high school student. For this song, the girls will use descriptive words allowing listeners to create a mental image by listening to it.

Prior to this release, 9nine's new single, 'Yi Er! Jiang Shi feat. Hao Hao! Jiang Shi Girl', will hit stores on November 14th. The title track serves as the theme song for member Kawashima Umika's starring drama, 'Hao Hao! Jiang Shi Girl ~Tokyo Denshidai Senki~', which begins its broadcast on October 12th.

Furthermore, it was announced that 9nine will be holding their one-man live, 'Christmas no 9nine 2012', on December 14th at Akasaka BLITZ.
