It's been reported that Fuji TV's variety program, 'Haneru no Tobira', will be ending after its 2-hour special on September 26th. Fuji TV explained that "it willaccompany autumn's reorganization plans".

The show features comedians such as King Kong, Robert, Drunk Dragon, Hokuyo, and Impulse. It's known for its skits, which comedians use to show their joke materials.

'Haneru no Tobira' started broadcasting back in April of 2001 as a late-night variety show at 1:15 AM. After receiving good viewer ratings, it was pushed earlier to 12:35 AM in 2003, then 11:00 PM in 2004. It then claimed a spot in the golden time slot (prime time) in 2005.

Later in 2008, the show received an average rating of 24.1% in the Kanto region, and was ranked high among the top 30 programs for that year. It was especially popular in the Kansai region; from 2008 to 2010, it held a steady rating around 20%.
