On September 4th, Maeda Atsuko held a release event for her photo book, 'Acchan', at Fukuya Bookstore in Shinjuku Subnade.

This marked Maeda's first event after graduating from AKB48 last month. Now that she's graduated, she hopes to go out on dates to the movie theaters. Regarding her ideal man, she revealed, "I want someone who's smart. I want him to understand the movie, and where we can share each other's opinions."

Maeda stated that she "doesn't have anything left undone" in AKB48. "When the members around me were talking about 'having a photo shoot tomorrow', that's when it hit me that I was going to graduate," she shared and reflected, "During the party on my graduation day, everyone came to tell me their feelings. They love me that much. It's not too late now, I'm going to take care of my juniors."

When asked what she wants to do now, Maeda responded, "I want to do a lot of normal things. I promised my friend to ride a train together and eat soba at a soba restaurant at the station. I've also been riding the train, and cycling." She continued, "I have a passive attitude towards work. (As an actress) if they need me, I will do anything. I will do my best."

On her singing career, she commented, "Singing is really fun. When appearing on my last music program as a member of AKB, there were many moments when I thought that singing is wonderful." She then said, "I want to hold a live by myself. I also want to release an album. There are many things I can do now that I'm solo. I will do my best as a newbie."

'Acchan' is a photo book that commemorates Maeda's graduation from AKB48. Aside photos, it features a 20,000 word interview with Maeda as well as interviews with Akimoto Yasushi and other AKB48 members. Along with 1,500 invited fans, 75 media outlets also gathered at this event.
