On January 30, Kyushu-based idol group LinQ appeared at a sales event for their double A-side single CHIKU-TAKU/Going My Way! at Shinjuku Station Square in Tokyo.
The group debuted in April 2011 and began their activities in Fukuoka. Their unit name comes from the phrase Love in Kyushu. The group has 31 members, but because of another sales event held simultaneouslyin Fukuoka, only 15 members showed up at the event in Shinjuku.
They are currently rising in popularity as shown by the 700 fans who gathered for their event. MemberIchinose Miku (26) shouted, Everyone who is heading to work: Please delay your train as an idol group is going to sing and dance starting right now! Following her statement, the group performed six songs, including their latest release.
