'Ted' reclaimed the first place at the box office with another great result for the weekend.

American thriller 'Jack Reacher' ('Outlaw' in Japan) attracted a lot of people on its opening weekend, especially men in their thirties and above, and earned itself a solid second place on the box office chart.

Meanwhile, 'Strawberry Night' and 'Life of Pi' dropped down to third and fourth place, respectively. Both movies are doing well at the box office and are nearing the 1 billion Yen mark in revenue.

Two new Japanese movies made it into the top ten as well. 'Kiiroi Zou' ('Yellow Elephant') - starring Miyazaki Aoi and Mukai Osamu - opened at seventh place, while the new AKB48 documentary 'DOCUMENTARY of AKB48 No flower without rain Shoujo Tachi wa Namida no Ato ni Nani wo Miru?' opened at tenth place.
