The Zepp Osaka live house has announced that it will be relocating, and the club will be reopening in Nanba in the spring of 2012.

The new location for the Zepp Osaka will be near the Imamiyaebisu train station.� The propriators will be leasing the building area for 20 years, and the occupancy for the new club is planned to be about 2,500 standing.� The concept for the new building is a "21st century Zepp", and it will feature more space, more greenery around the rooftop and walls, and reuse of rainwater to make it a more ecological structure.� It is a revolutionary concept for the live house chain, and they are hoping to learn how to run a building through this experience so that they can spread the concept to the other six Zepp locations around Japan.

The present day Zepp Osaka will be ending its operations in spring of 2012 when the new location opens.� This plan may be changed due to construction, but hopefully fans will not be missing out on performers in the area with the two locations switching over smoothly.

Zepp Osaka opened its doors in November of 1998.� It followed up a Zepp club in Tokyo to be the second Zepp live house in the country, and currently has room for 2,180 people standing, 938 when seated.
