Today, it was revealed that professional golfer Ishikawa Ryo will be participating in a Nihon TV�s charity program, �24 Hour Television 34 Ai wa Chikyu wo Sukuu�. His part of the program is called, �Ishikawa Ryo ga Mita Hisaichi no Ima� and for the program he visited an elementary school in the disaster area of Ishinomaki, Miyagi Prefecture.

Ishikawa, who acquainted himself with the students there, stated, �Although I do not understand the hardships of the disaster victims 100%, I think that the efforts to comprehend it is important and I believe that begins the support and aiding process. I do not know if what I did will have a small or a large impact but I do have a small sense of accomplishment from this.�

This 34th annual summer program, �24 Hour TV�, centralizes on the theme of �Chikara ~Watashi wa, Taisetsuna Hitori� (�Strength ~I am an Important Individual~�). The main personality has already been announced to be Kanjani8 and Hatori Shinichi. Freelance announcer, Nishio Yukari, will also be in charge of hosting the program as well. There will be other narrators such as Tokumitsu Kazuo and Masu Taichi. It has also been announced that Kanjani8 will participate in drama, �Ikiterudake dewa Nankurunaisa�, starring member Murakami Shingo.

Ishikawa has also revealed that his prize money from this season�s golf tour and major tournaments will be counted towards charity for the Tohoku earthquake victims. In his featuring program, it was said that he lost his words when he saw collapsed houses, a traffic light that was barely hanging on to its foundation, and other states of destruction of the disaster area. Afterwards, he visited the elementary school and teach the children how to gold while giving encouraging messages.

This program will broadcast on August 20th to the 21st.
