On August 7th,�Kiroro's vocalist Tamashiro Chiharu held her first independent performance at Hamarikyu Asahi Hall in Tokyo.

"I will start my solo activities from now on! I am in the middle of recording new songs, so I will do my best for everyone to hear them soon!", said Tamashiro, showing her enthusiasm. She sang a total of 13 songs, and played the piano for the encore.

This comeback concert was Tamashiro's first live in about two years, and 550 fans came to celebrate her return. Tamashiro expressed, "This is my first time on stage by myself, so I'm very nervous. I don't know what's going to happen... but I will do my best!" She presented her new acoustic song, "Everything", and sang Kiroro's hits "Nagai Aida", "Mirai e", and "BEST FRIEND". Additionally, she covered Ayaka's "Minna Sora no Shita" and the late Misora Hibari's "Makka na Taiyou", with a relaxed voice that charmed the fans.

During the encore, Tamashiro sang "Everything" while playing the piano. In Kiroro, Kinjo Ayano plays the piano, so she has never given a piano performance herself. As the start of her solo career, she played the piano for the first time in front of her fans. Starting this Autumn, Tamashiro plans to release her solo single and album.



Kiroro's Tamashiro and Kinjo both got married in 2005. Since then, Tamashiro gave birth to her third child in October 2009, and Kinjo also gave birth to her third child in March of this year. The two have been on maternity leave after releasing their single, "Minna Anata wo Aishiteru", in March 2009.
