On September 29th, the "International Drama Festival in TOKYO Executive Comittee" announced that they have chosen the drama, "Freeter, Ie wo Kau" as the Grand Prix winner for "Tokyo Drama Award" in its renzoku category.
Additionally, it was announced that�Ninomiya Kazuya in "Freeter, Ie wo Kau" was awarded best actor, and�Suzuki Kyoka in "Second Virgin" and Ashida Mana in "Marumo no Okite" was awarded as best actresses. Meanwhile, the Grand Prix for the tanpatsu category went to�"99-nen no Ai ~JAPANESE AMERICANS~".
"Tokyo Drama Award" was established in 2008 by the National Association of Commercial Broadcasters and NHK to aim for competitiveness on an international level. The official awards ceremony will be held on October 24th at Roppongi Hills.
