Kitagawa Yujin (34) from popular male duo Yuzu and freelance announcer Takashima Aya (32) announced their marriage on October 20th.

According to the announcement, the couple held a wedding ceremony at Misogi�Shrine in Yamanashi, and registered their marriage in Yokohama on the same day.

Below is the comment by the couple:

"It's been 6 years since we first met. �Though both of us have spent busy days with work, we were able to maintain our relationship by having many people watching over us. �I (Kitagawa) have decided to start a new family and also spend the rest of my life together with her (Takashima). She is someone who I can respect as a woman and as a human, and who has a warm and kind heart.�We will support each other, share with each other, stimulate each other, and continue smiling together.

While cherishing every day, I would like to continue making music that many people will cheer for and makes them smile. �Since she will have to manage both family and a career, I will support her. �Though we are still inexperienced, we hope that everybody will continue to watch over us. �Also, we are planning to hold a reception party in�February in my hometown, Yokahama.
