Arimura Kasumi slips back in time in the trailer for "Gal Basara"
The first trailer for the upcoming film "Gal Basara ~Sengoku Jidai wa Kengai Desu~", starring Arimura Kasumi, was recently released online.
The story is about a group of high school students who suddenly get sucked in by a time hole while watching a Sengoku show together. After the time slip they find themselves right in the midst of a severe battle that happened 440 years ago, during the real Sengoku period. They are forced to grow up and depend on each other, as they are struggling to survive during one of the most turbulent times of Japanese history.
"Gal Basara" features a colorful mix of youthful actors that costar along Arimura, including Taketomi Seika, Arai Moe, Kaku Kento, Mori Ren, and AKB48's Shinoda Mariko. Further you can look forward to the two "Samurai Sentai Shinkenger" stars, Suzuki Shogo and Soma Keisuke, as well as "Tensou Sentai Goseiger" star, Hamao Kyosuke. Veteran actor Matsukata Hiroki also joined the cast as the infamous Oda Nobunaga.
Idol group SKE48 sings the theme song for the film, "Utaouyo, Bokutachi no Kouka". Furthermore the group is going to be represented within the film by short appearances of Ogiso Shiori and Kizaki Yuria.
"Gal Basara" is scheduled to open in Japan on November 26th.
