On February 5th, actress Yoshitaka Yuriko received the 'Best Actress Award' at "The 33rd Yokohama Film Festival".

Thrilled by the honor, Yoshitaka expressed, "I'm grateful to receive such a wonderful award. I received my first 'Best New Actor Award' at this Yokohama Film Festival, and 5 years later, I received my first 'Best Actress Award'. I'm very grateful that the Yokohama Film Festival has given me this opportunity."

Yoshitaka then concluded her speech saying, "I was thinking of something more cool to say, but I'm very nervous, so I'll stop talking before I mess up even more," causing the crowd to burst into laughter.

The "Yokohama Film Festival" is an unique film festival and awards ceremony hosted by movie fans. This year, a special 'Best Actor Award' went to actor Harada Yoshio, who passed away last July at 71-years of age due to pneumonia. His final film, "Oshika-mura Soudouki", also won the 'Best Film Award'.
