On May 20th, Yagi Masumi of the comic duo Savanna finally held the wedding ceremony for the marriage he registered on March 14th to a normal, 26-year-old OL woman.

"Two seconds after the ceremony started, I teared up," said Yagi, who received blessings from approximately forty people (including his partner Takahashi Shigeo and comedian Nakayama Kinni-kun). "Since she's my wife, she'll be followed by my partner even more than she had been up until now! From now on the two of us would like to build up our own 'energetic champion' family as husband and wife, and 'enjoy! enjoy!'" he declared to the press gathered at the event.

Takahashi, who watched over the marriage ceremony at the sunny venue, took the opportunity to jokingly take a jab at Yagi, but also showed his love towards the other half of Savanna. "I'd love to support Yagi with his wife," he commented.

Yagi announced last August during an event that he had been seeing a normal woman who was working at a department store in Osaka, and on White Day they were married.
