On October 6th, metal idol group BABYMETAL announced that they are going to make their major debut under the label TOY'S FACTORY with the release of their new single "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" on January 9th, 2013.

The group announced their major debut at the end of today's one-man live concert 'I, D, Z ~LEGEND "I"' at Shibuya O-EAST in Tokyo. The title song "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" is already a well-known and very popular track at their concerts. The performance of this song always incorporates a 'Wall of Death' created by the two members MOAMETAL and YUIMETAL and an overly ecstatic audience that jumps together with the girls whenever they singe "Dame! " that is called "Dame! Dame! Jump". It has gradually turned into a fan favorite and therefore was chosen as their first single release under the major label.

BABYMETAL's next one-man live is titled 'I, D, Z ~LEGEND "D" SU-METAL SEITANSAI' will be held at Akasaka Blitz in Tokyo on December 20th. As the subtitle that translates to 'SU-METAL's HOLY BIRTHDAY' already suggests, it's going to be held at a very special day for member SU-METAL. Tickets for this concert became available for pre-order on the group's official site as of today.

The group will release "Ijime, Dame, Zettai" in three different first press editions titled "I", "D", and "Z" and a regular edition. The first press edition includes a DVD with the girls' live performance at SHIBUYA-AX on April 8th. The coupling song has yet to be announced.

Those who are still unfamiliar with the group should check out this past interview with Kawaii Girl Japan.
