NICO Touches the Wall's new song, "Runner", has been chosen as the theme song for TBS' ekiden (long-distance relay race) programs.

"Runner" is based on a song that Mitsumura Tatsuya (Vo, G) made in his teens. For the release, he remixed the sounds in order to accentuate the powerful lyrics.

The song will be used for the December 16th broadcast of 'All-Japan Corporate Women's Ekiden 2012' and the January 1st broadcast of 'New Year Ekiden 2013'. At this moment, the release date for "Runner" is undecided.

NICO Touches the Walls is currently in the middle of their nationwide tour, 'NICO Touches the Walls TOUR 2012: ALGORHYTMIQUE'. At the end of this tour, they will release their new single, "Yume 1-gou", on December 19th.
