YUI performs with Stereopony at their last live

On December 27, girl band Stereopony, known for their song “Namida no Mukou,” which peaked at second on the Oricon Charts, performed their final live at the Akasaka Blitz.

In October, the group announced that they would disband. Vocalist AIMI (22) greeted fans with, “Today is our final performance. I will put my heart into each and every song that I sing.” The group performed 28 songs including “Namida no Mukou” and lit up the space for the approximately 1400 fans in attendance. YUI (25), who wrote their single “I do it,” appeared as a surprise guest performer. Together with YUI, the band pushed the excitement in the space to the maximum, as they performed the song.
