On February 1st, Morning Musume's leader Michishige Sayumi became a one-day manager at "Yoshinoya", the largest chain of "Gyudon" (= beef bowl) restaurants.

The restaurant's new menu "Yakitori Tsukune-don" is nicknamed "Sayu-don" among the fans ever since Michishige attended the menu's sales event held back in November of last year.

During the day, Michishige served 20 customers, and said, "I'm happy to see people eating 'Sayu-don', but they are busy absorbing their food though I am here in front of them. I feel like I've lost to 'Sayu-don'."

After the event, Michishige said regarding her service, she joked, "I'm surprised that I have the talent to work in a service industry, but I'll be a little modest, and give myself 100 points." About her looks, she joked, "I looked good in the uniform more than I expected. I am impressed that I look great no matter what I wear, so I'll give myself 120 points for that," which brought laughter.

Michishige also talked about their latest single "Help me!!" which topped Oricon's weekly single chart for the first time in 3 years and 8 months. She said, "All I can say is I am happy. With this happy feeling, we will aim higher and higher."

She also revealed that, "Our junior members (9th, 10th, and 11th generation members) were crying even at the time it ranked No.1 on the daily chart, so I was telling them 'it's a little too early (to cry).' I think that's how much they cared about topping the chart." She then showed her gratitude for the result, commenting, "It's thanks to our senior members, staff members, and all the current members."
