Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku to sing opening theme song for drama, 'Vampire Heaven'
Shiritsu Ebisu Chuugaku's new song, "Kindan no Karma", has been chosen as the opening theme for TV Tokyo's upcoming drama, 'Vampire Heaven', which will air starting April 12th.
"Kindan no Karma" is Ebichu's 4th major single that's scheduled for release on June 5th. This is the first time their song has been chosen as the theme song for a drama. As reported earlier, 'Vampire Heaven', will star Omasa Aya, Honda Tsubasa, and Hiraoka Yuta, and it will tell a love story between a young man and beautiful vampires.
Ebichu performed this song for the first time on March 31st during their one-man live, 'Kuruizaki Ebi Road ~Owarinaki Shinkyu~', at Yomiuri Land Open Theater EAST. They also performed "Te wo Tsunagou", which will be released as a double A-side single with "Kindan no Karma", as well as "Sakura Go Round", which is currently airing as the ending theme for TV Tokyo's anime, 'Pocket Monster Best Wish Season 2'.
Before the live, the girls held a press conference where Mizuki commented, "Since this is our first drama tie-up, it's a weird feeling. I can't believe that Ebichu's song will be used in a drama."
Furthermore, the members will be making an appearance in 'Vampire Heaven'. Suzuki Hirono, who has already participated in the filming, shared, "I was by myself, so when I was being nervous in the waiting room, my co-stars kindly spoke out to me, and I thought that it was a nice atmosphere."
