On June 5, Kenkyuusei of AKB48 and the sister groups held their first solo live concert "AKB48 Group Kenkyuusei Concert ~Oshimen Hayai Mono Gachi~" at Nippon Budokan.

A total of 103 Kenkyuusei (27 from AKB48 including 3 promoted members, 30 from SKE48, including 8 promoted members, 22 from NMB48 including 2 promoted members, and 24 from HKT48) made appearances at the concert, and SKE48's "lifetime honorary Kenkyuusei" Matsumura Kaori and AKB48's Kenkyuusei Minegishi Minami served as the emcees.

The girls performed 30 songs, including AKB48's latest song "Sayonara Crawl", "Aitakatta", each group and unit's songs, and for the encore, they performed "Let's Go Kenkyuusei" which contained the nicknames of all members who attended the concert.

Matsumura and Minegishi told the audience of 11,000, "We, Kenkyuusei, will unite efforts to be able to hold another Kenkyuusei concert, so please support us Kenkyuusei!" The two also showed their duet performance for "Enjou Rosen".

During the talk between the performances, Minegishi, who was teased about her wig by other members, revealed her current mental state, "It reminds me of those days when everything was dazzling. With other Kenkyuusei, I remember what state of mind I was in back then. Kenkyuusei are shining while having dreams and emotional conflicts, so I want everyone to know their charms."

There was also a segment where each Kenkyuusei introduced themselves and their specialties. The girls definitely excited the audience during the 3-hour concert.
