As we reported previously, the movie is based on the novel of the same name released back in 1997 byImamura Aya, who passed away earlier this year.
=====
The film centers around a shared room. The protagonist "Hagio Harumi" (Kitagawa) meets a nurse "Nishimura Reiko" (Fukada) at a hospital she was in due to a traffic accident, and they hit it off with each other. Eventually, they decide to start a room share together after Harumi was discharged from the hospital. One day, Harumi sees mysterious incidents occur one after another caused by Reiko's bizarre actions.
=====
It's only a 30-second trailer that starts with Kitagawa's bewitching smile and Fukada with a tender smile, which changes completely in a second. Regardless of its stylishness, it features the terror that lurks deep inside of beauty.
"Roommate" is set to open in theaters on November 9th.
