On July 19, actress Kichise Michiko (38) announced through her official blog that she has given birth to her first child.

Kichise reported, "On�July 17, I safely gave birth to my first child, a baby girl weighing at�3072 grams (6 lbs 12 oz). Both myself and my child are in healthy condition."�

She also revealed, "Since I first found out about my pregnancy until now, my heart was full of anxiety and anticipation. After meeting my own healthy child, I am savoring the affection, that I can't put into words, everyday."�

Kichise expressed her joy saying, "Thank you for coming to us. While savoring this excitement and joy, I hope to have a good time." She�also called out to her fans, "I am looking forward to the day I will be standing in front of everyone again."

Finally, she stated, "To those who always support me and to the persons concerned, thank you for watching over me warmly. I am grateful from the bottom of my heart."

Kichise married a non-celebrity man 10 years her senior in December of 2010. In February, she announced that she was 4 months into her pregnancy.
