This was the first challenge for a NMB48 member to hold a one-man show for an hour without any singing, dancing, or having any guests. Kotani, who is known as the "timid" one in the group, hesitatingly said, "Isn't this risky?  I am by myself," and told 50 stories that she prepared.

10 minutes after she began however, she asked "Are you bored?" and then declared that, "This is sudden, but I think I would like to cut my hair." 

To the surprise of her fans, she replied with, "At the handshake event, I heard 'Shorter is better.' So, I'm cutting it so much. Even if it turns out bad, it will be everyone's joint responsibility. So you can't change me as your Oshimen (= No.1 favorite member). If you do, I'll remember your face." 

Sounds of "Oh!!" could be heard from fans as the hairstylist cut off about 20 centimeters of Kotani's chest-length hair.  During her haircut, Kotani continued to speak nonchalantly; about 35 minutes after, she suddenly brought fans back to the present moment with, "Is it weird for me to get a haircut on stage?" and then had her new hairstyle completed without incident. 

Fortunately, she received a lot of compliments from the fans after the haircut.
