SKE48's 12th single "Utsukushii Inazuma" (went on sale on July 17) sold 511,000 copies, and topped Oricon's weekly single ranking.



This is the group's 8 consecutive chart topping singles. It's also 3 consecutive singles that sold over 500,000 copies during the first week, and they are the second female artist to achieve it after their sister group AKB48.

The captain of SKE48, Nakanishi Yuka expressed her gratitude toward fans, "I felt a little nervous as the single was released after many members graduated, but because of your support, we were able to get first place. From now on, we will work hard more actively to meet your expectations, so please continue to support us."
