On August 25th, actress Kitagawa Keiko held a release event for her first photo book '27' at Ebisu The Garden Room.

Kitagawa also held a release event in Osaka the day before. These marked her first handshake events in her 10 year career. Over the period of two days, she met with about 4,400 fans. On this day, she shook hands with 2,200 people in 5 hours. "It went by very fast. I was happy to directly see the faces of many fans," she said. 

The photo book was shot in Paris back in April and Tokyo in June. It features both natural and sexy shots of the actress as well as a 10,000 word interview. She showed confidence in the book saying, "I was able to put in 120% of my gratitude for my fans." 

Kitagawa just celebrated her 27th birthday on the 22nd. After the handshake event, 500 people who were chosen out of lottery represented the fans and presented Kitagawa with a birthday cake, song, and a letter. She expressed, "My 27th birthday became my greatest happiness. I was so moved that I teared up."
