Rock band MAXIMUM THE HORMONE's 5th album, "Yoshu Fukushu" (released July 31st), has topped Oricon's album weekly ranking.

This is the band's first time topping the album chart. The highest spot they've held is 5th place with their 4th album, "Bu-ikikaesu" (released March 2007). The first week sales for this album was 157,000 copies, which is over twice their previous album's 71,000.

Out of all their albums and singles, this is their second time to top the charts since their debut. The last time was their single "Greatest the Hits 2011~2012 (Utsukushiki Hitobito no Uta) / maximum the hormone / my girl" (released March of 2011).

The album features a total of 15 songs, including their singles "Utsukushiki Hitobito no Uta", "maximum the hormone", and "my girl". It comes with a 156-page book that comes with a song handbook and 5 manga stories.
