On September 5th, 5-member male group Da-iCE announced on their USTREAM program that they will make their major debut under Universal Music next year.


Though the announcement for their major debut was already made back in July, they finally revealed the label.

Da-iCE is a dance and vocal group that was formed in January of 2011. The group is consist of Ohno Yudai (24), Iwaoka Toru (26), Kudo Taiki (26), Hanamura Sota (23), and Wada Hayate (19). 

They hold 80 live performances in one year, and served as the opening acts for AAA's nation-wide tour and a-nation stadium fes. last year. 

This June, Da-iCE also released their 1st single "I'll be back" under an indie label, and it was spotted at 14th place on the Oricon weekly chart. Moreover, they successfully held nation-wide tour which they made stops in 12 locations.

The label they will be under is UNIVERSAL SIGMA which is a subsidiary under Universal Music.

Prior to their major debut, Da-iCE will appear as the opening act at "SIGMA FES.2013" which will be held at Makuhari Messe on the 14th.
