Kobukuro will be in charge of the theme song for the NHK broadcast of the 'Sochi 2014 Winter Olympics'. 

NHK chose Kobukuro to be in charge of the theme song because "they are artists who have the power of expression to reach people's hearts." Kobukuro commented, "The passion that builds in an instant, and the emotion and beauty that results from it, is unique during the winter season. We are currently searching for a melody and lyrics that can give power to that setting."

More details on the song will be revealed in late-October. The song will be used during the opening and ending of the broadcast, Olympics-related programs, and for promotional purposes. 

Additionally, Kobukuro will simultaneously release a new album "One Song From Two Hearts" and a live DVD/Blu-ray "KOBUKURO LIVE TOUR 2013 'One Song From Two Hearts' FINAL at Kyocera Dome Osaka" on December 18. In light of these releases, there will be a big campaign which links all of their releases this year.
