On September 2nd, NMB48 revealed their upcoming 8th single "Kamonegikkusu!" (on sale starting October 2) during the Team N performance at the NMB48 theater in Namba, Osaka.

Until now, only the release date for the single was announced. When the captain Yamamoto Sayaka (20) revealed the title, the audience burst into laughter, but once the intense dance number was performed, it caused a stir among the audience.

The members dressed in space suits-looking costumes and ran around in a circle to the lyrics "Kamo ga Negi Shotte Welcome To Love..." 

 
***"Kamonegi" a.k.a "Kamo ga Negi wo Shotte Kuru" (lit. a duck comes carrying a Welsh onion on its back) is a Japanese proverb  that means a stroke of luck occurs, and things become more and more convenient.)

According to Yamamoto, "The title was a coined word by Akimoto Yasushi Sensei.  It is a song about a girl who despite being a convenience just like Kamonegi, does not learn from her mistakes and falls in love."  

It was also the day Ichikawa Miori (19), who started holding concurrent posts in both AKB48 and NMB48 as of April 28, made her NMB stage debut.
