SMAP's new song "Hello" has been chosen as Hello Kitty's official 40th anniversary song. This song was written and composed by Ozaki Sekaikan of creephyp.�

To celebrate Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary in 2014, Sanrio is currently planning various events with the theme "give�ARIGATO HUG YOU?to that person. Thank you. Gyu?". SMAP's new song expresses a feeling of gratitude to�coincide this theme.�

"Hello" will be used in Sanrio's mini-program 'FOR YOU ~Tsutaetai Arigatou~' on Fuji TV starting October 9 as well as Sanrio's TV CMs. It's also scheduled to be screened on monitors in Sanrio shops nationwide.�

More details on Hello Kitty's 40th anniversary event will be revealed through Sanrio's official website once it has been determined.�
