English singer-songwriterGabrielle Aplin will be singing the song "Through the ages" for Mizushima Hiro's starring film 'Kuroshitsuji' ('Black Butler'). It's been revealed that this song was written by Ayaka.
Mizushima, who is also one of the producers of the film, recommended Gabrielle Aplin to sing the theme song. Also, producer Matsuhashi Shinzohas always wanted Ayaka to write a theme song for his movie and considered her to provide the music for this film.
Matsuhashi then consulted Ayaka's husband Mizushima, who agreed saying, "She has known about this movie since the first stages of planning and has the line to make English lyrics. I believe she will be able to meet our expectations." In the past, Ayaka has provided a song for Kudo Shizuka, but this will be her first time providing a song for a foreign artist.
The theme song "Through the ages" will be included in Gabrielle's Japanese album "English Rain ~New Edition~" which will be released on December 4th.
