On January 5, 12 members of D-BOYS, including member Yamada Yuki (23) appeared at a commemorative sales event in Tokyo for the group's DVD "Kyokuchu Ongaku-kan LIVE ~Bakumatsu Festival~" (King Records, normal edition �4200, limited edition �5775). Yamada in particular, talked about his ambitions for the new year.

He wore a haori hakama and smiled for the 5000 fans who cheered the 12 members. He stated, "The year is already off to a good start." Yamada, who was chosen as man of the year, stated spiritedly, "Last year, I was able to play 12 different roles, so I was able to avoid bad luck coming into this year, so I hope I am able to play many 'roles' this year." �

Shiramata Atsushi (19), who will come of age in March, smiled and vowed, "I will try my best to follow the rules."
