The movie poster for the movie adaptation of best-selling manga "Sukitte Iinayo" featuring Kawaguchi Haruna and Fukushi Sota has been released, showing the two leads kissing.
The movie is about a couple's first love. While sharing many of their "first experience" - kissing, holding hands, falling in love - they learn the meanings of gentle kindness, preciousness, jealousy, and pain, and eventually grow from it. The many kiss scenes in the movie are something to keep an eye out for in the film.
Kawaguchi commented, "I was rather at a loss at first because there are so many kiss scenes, but I will aim to make this a movie that makes the audience' hearts flutter!" On her co-star, she said, "I am nervous about the kiss scenes but because I've known Fukushi-kun from taking lessons together in the past, I can play the role with trust in him."
On the other hand, Fukushi said, "I was so nervous. I was really troubled by the number of kiss scenes. My character Yamato is a man who kisses without hesitating. I thought I had intended to act unhesitatingly, but Kawaguchi-san told me that I seemed perplexed. (laughs)". He added, "When you watch it on the screen, it's probably going to get embarrassing. But the kiss scenes are the main point of the movie, so please watch without looking away."
The posters will be up at cinemas nationwide starting February 1.
