Los Angeles television station UTB 18.2 will premiere two new drama series this week, including Freeter, Ie wo Kau (English broadcast title: Job-Hopper Buys a House) starring Ninomiya Kazunari as a young man who restarts his life with a part-time construction job. Ninomiya, a member of the Japanese pop group Arashi, won Best Actor awards for the role from the 2011 Tokyo Drama Awards, the 67th Television Drama Academy Awards, and the 14th Nikkan Sports Drama Grand Prix.
Ninomiya appeared in the Japanese films GANTZ and Tekkon Kinkreet, and performed in the Clint Eastwood film Letters from Iwo Jima with actor Watanabe Ken.
Freeter, Ie wo Kau (Job-Hopper Buys a House) is broadcast for free in the Southern California area with English subtitles.

Also premiering this week is the mystery series Iryu Sosa (English broadcast title: CSI - Crime Scene Investigators) starring Kamikawa Takaya as a forensic detective who finds hidden clues in the personal items that victims leave behind. Kamikawa recently starred in the Japanese television series Lady Joker and Taira no Kiyomori.

This week's premieres join UTB's slate of high-quality Japanese television programming including Gooko's Life (starring Inoue Mao), Aibou 11 (starring Mizutani Yutaka and Narimiya Hiroki), Second To Last Love (starring Koizumi Kyoko), historical drama Yae no Sakura (starring Ayase Haruka), and animated shows Case Closed, Eagle Talon NEO, and Sherlock Hound.
