On February 6th, former Morning Musume member Takahashi Ai attended a Valentine's Day event at Shibuya Hikarie.�

Last December, Takahashi announced her engagement to�comedian�Abe Koji. They will register their marriage this upcoming Valentine's Day. Takahashi commented on her remaining days as a single woman, "It's a strange feeling. I've always wanted to get married, but as it comes closer, it's starting to become real that I will really become 'Abe Ai'."�

Takahashi shared that her engagement ring has the motif of "chocolate". Regarding their ceremony, she said, "As a girl, I want to be a June bride, but it's been a dream of mine to hold it in Hawaii." The couple is scheduled to hold a press conference on the 14th.

She also promised that she would gift Abe handmade chocolate on Valentine's Day, "[Because of the press conference] I think I will be busy, but I want to make it with love."�
