On March 11th, AKB48 groups will hold special concerts for restoration support for the Tohoku Earthquake.
Two years ago, the group launched a disaster recovery project called 'Dareka no Tame ni'. Until February of this year, they have visited the disaster area a total of 34 times. The upcoming concert will be a part of this project, and it will be held at AKB48, SKE48, NMB48, and HKT48 Theaters. More details will be revealed later.
Last March, the group released their charity song "Tenohira ga Katarukoto". This song will continue to be distributed this year. The project's website is also accepting donations.
