Fuji TV's drama "HERO" starring SMAP member Kimura Takuya will be returning to the 'Getsu9' time slot after 13 years. This marks Kimura's 10th starring Getsu9 drama since he last starred in "PRICELESS ~Aruwakeneedaro, nnamon!~" in 2012.

"HERO" revolves around an unconventional prosecutor named "Kuryu Kohei" (Kimura) and other unique members of the Tokyo District Public Prosecutor's Office, Jousai branch. The drama was adapted into a movie in 2007, and this is the first time in 7 years that Kimura is playing the role of Kuryu. 

Some cast members like Kohinata Fumiyo, Yashima Norito, Kadono Takuzo, and Tanaka Yoji, who appeared in the previous season, will also return to the drama along with Kimura. Kitagawa Keiko has been chosen as the new heroine for this second season, and other newly added cast members include Sugimoto Tetta, Hamada Gaku, Yoshida Yo, and Matsushige Yutaka.

The second season of "HERO" will begin airing in July on Fuji TV (every Monday at 9:00 pm).
