Former AKB48 / SDN48 member Ohori Megumi has given birth to her first child on June 16.
According to her official blog, Ohori gave birth to a 2,956 gram (6lbs 8oz) baby girl. She revealed that she was finally able to give birth about two days after her water broke. "Our child, who was doing her best in my stomach for 10 months, was so precious that I held her and said, 'You did your best.' From now on, together with my husband, we hope to give her a lot of love and happiness."
Ohori married scriptwriter Kanazawa Tatsuya in 2013 and announced her pregnancy in January of this year.
