It's been revealed that Kameda Seiji, Yamamura Ryuta (Vo / flumpool), Sakai Kazuki (G/ flumpool), Sugimoto Yuji (Vo, Piano / WEAVER), and Tamada Tom (Dr / 100s) have formed an unit called 'THE TURTLES JAPAN' for a limited time.�

The idea of this new unit began when flumpool's Yamamura and Sakai, who celebrated the 5th anniversary of their debut, sought after new inspirations. The two suggested they form a unit to Kameda, who agreed willingly. In addition, Yamamura and Sakai have previously appeared on Kameda's radio program and held a session live together. This is said to be another reason why they decided to form the unit.�

The unit name comes from the American rock band�The Turtles. Just like The Turtles' representative song "Happy Together", the new unit hopes to "walk together with the listeners through music".�

THE TURTLES JAPAN will perform for the very first time at 'MBS Oto Matsuri 2014' which will be held from October 10 to the 12 at Osaka-jo Hall. They are expected to perform some of their original songs during this live.
