On January 8, actress Aso Kumiko (36) appeared in Tokyo for the TV Tokyo drama "Kaiki Renai Sakusen" press conference (premiering January 9, airing Fridays at 12 AM.)

Aso, Sakai Maki (44), and Ogawa Tamaki (43) star in the nonsense comedy as 3 women in their 40s who have a passion for love, careers, friendships, while also getting involved in fighting Yokai and other strange phenomenons.

Aso, who is starring as the lead for the first time in a drama, said, "As it's a late-night drama, I was told not to worry about the ratings, but I would like [to see] good ratings."

 

 

Actor Nakamura Toru (49), who plays a stupid detective in the drama, is said to use curse words in one of the drama's scenes. He spoke about this saying, "I struggled with feelings of shyness during the actual scene."

Keralino Sandrovich (52), who is Ogawa's husband and the writer and director of the drama, was also present at the press conference.
