On January 25, at the final day of AKB48's "AKB48 Request Hour Set List Best 1035 2015" which was held at TOKYO DOME CITY HALL, the group performed their upcoming 39th single "Green Flash" (to be released on March 4) for the first time.

For the single, Kashiwagi Yuki (23) and Kojima Haruna (26) will be the center, and as for Kashiwagi, this marks her very first time to be the center since 9 years of her career.

The new single is homage to 1986 French movie "The Green Ray" (directed by Eric Rohmer).
Though AKB48's spring singles have been graduation songs customarily, this single is little different, as it is said to be a song of a broken heart, and there is a rap part by Takahashi Minami and Yamamoto Sayaka.
