Hamasaki Ayumi will provide her new song "Step by step" as the theme song for NHK Sougou's upcoming drama 'Bijo to Danshi' premiering on April 14.

'Bijo to Danshi' is a drama series that will air on NHK's 'Drama 10' time slot. It will tell a love story of 'Ichiko' (Nakama Yukie), a woman who unexpectedly becomes a manager of an entertainment agency, and 'Ryo' (Machida Keita), a young actor who is scouted by Ichiko. This drama will air as a long-term series with 20 episodes, which is a first in the 'Drama 10' time slot.�

Hamasaki, who was offered by NHK to provide the theme song, commented, "I depicted a positive message in my own way." This will be her first time providing a theme song for a NHK drama since "BALLAD" for�2010's 'Soukyu no Subaru'.�

"Step by step" will not be included in Hamasaki's new album "A ONE" which will be released on April 8. It is currently unknown whether the song will be released in CD form.�
