The details on Kikkawa You's new single that's scheduled for a May 6 release has been revealed.

Previously, we reported that Kikkawa's upcoming single would be "a unique work in idol history." The title of this single has been confirmed to be "Hana". Produced by michitomo, "Hana" is 17 minutes and 25 seconds long. The lyrics were written by NOBE, Omori Seiko, and Daika Naoka, thus conveying three different world views. 

Regarding "Hana", Kikkawa commented, "The new song is an epic piece that is 17 minutes and 25 seconds long. I even mistakened the lyrics for 4-minute songs, so I was quite amazed by the considerable amount of words. With the song written by Omori-san, the atmosphere changed completely. I was told to sing opera-like, or Takarazuka-like, so during my spare moments from recording, I watched videos of Miwa Akihiro-san and Takarazuka and captured their image. I hope you get to see the many faces of Kikkawa You through this one song!"
