On May 5, singer-songwriter Oomori Seiko (27) announced through her official blog that she is currently 5-months pregnant.�

In a blog entry titled "Announcement", she wrote, "It's Children's Day. This will a long entry, but please allow me to make this announcement with my own words." She then revealed that she had gotten married shortly before her major debut.

Additionally, she reported, "I, Oomori Seiko, have been blessed with a baby. I'm currently 5-months pregnant and have entered my stable period. My due date is in October."

She explained that she decided to make this announcement after her tour had ended so that her fans wouldn't worry about her.

Oomori was born in 1987 in Matsuyama City, Ehime. She made her major debut under Avex with the single "Kyuru Kyuru" in September of 2014. Then in December of the same year, she released her 1st major album "Sennou".�
