Idol group Nogizaka46 released their 12th single "Taiyou Knock" back on July 22.
According to Oricon, the single has sold well, making "Taiyou Knock" their best selling single for the first week. It sold 609,000 copies, and it topped Oricon's newest weekly single chart.
This is the 11th consecutive chart-topping single for the group which allowed them to stand at third place for the record of "the number of consecutive No.1 singles" (for female groups).
"Taiyou Knock" is the theme song to the members' first starring drama 'Hatsumori Bemars', and Ikoma Rina takes the center position.
On a side note, Nogizaka46 will kick off their nation-wide tour "Manatsu no Zenkoku Tour 2015" on August 5 at Xebio Arena Sendai, in Miyagi.
