Matsui Jurina will cancel her concurrent position in AKB48. She will continue her activities as a member of SKE48 only. 

This announcement was made by Jurina herself on Nippon Broadcast's "AKB48 All Night Nippon ~Konya, Matsui Jurina ga Namahousou de Juudai Happyou SP~" in the presence of Yokohama Yui (AKB48) and producer Akimoto Yasushi. 

Jurina revealed, "I had been discussing this with Akimoto sensei since a year ago... I really love SKE48. I also wanted to show my back to the cute juniors that joined. After [Matsui] Rena-chan graduated recently, I have made my resolve on one thing. Until now, I have held a concurrent position in SKE48 and AKB48, but I've decided to commit myself to SKE only."

She continued, "I want SKE48 to become a group that will lead the other 48 groups. Our first goal was to surpass AKB48. But holding both positions, I had some unclear feelings. Now that that's gone, I hope it will become my driving force." 

The exact date of Matsui Jurina's final day in AKB48 has not been revealed at this time.
